The backlash stems from a tweet James sent following the death of Ma’Khia Bryant, a 16-year-old Black girl who was shot by a white police officer in Columbus, Ohio. A video appeared to show Bryant allegedly attacking another Black girl with a knife. She was shot four times by police Tuesday afternoon around the same time a guilty verdict was read in the Derek Chauvin trial in Minneapolis for the 2020 murder of George Floyd....

In her video, Olivia, known on the app as @chroniclesofolivia, describes the “controversial” encounter near Lena Lake, which occurred with her mom eight years ago. “It’s something that my mom and I don’t really talk about,” she says of the incident. In the second video, Olivia claims that a formal case was opened after their experience, thus giving her access to “secret” government information—later, it’s revealed that this case was filed with “The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization....

The video was posted to TikTok on Monday by Destiny Lane (@destiny_roger8). Already, the video has racked up more than 27 million views and over 5 million likes. “When you’re [sic] husband comes home from work and you have a cow in the house,” read the video’s text overlay. The footage opened with Lane’s husband walking through the front door, which is slightly ajar. The cow is sleeping behind the door and is visible to viewers, but cannot be seen by Lane’s husband....

According to sources at Deadline, MGM TV is financing the development of the series, and the package currently has several interested bidders. These sources also suggest that Netflix is currently the top bidder, and is in a good position to secure the project. Details are scarce and unconfirmed, but it’s been rumored that the show will feature the family navigating life in the modern day, and will primarily take place from the perspective of Wednesday Addams, the family’s daughter....

While removing the original cornerstone of the building—formerly home to the Good Samaritan Hospital, laid on June 15, 1929—the crew discovered a compartment on the underside of the stone housing a sealed metal box, The Williston Herald reported. For the most part, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands was yet another solid entry in the beloved franchise, with some satisfying gunplay, plenty of progression systems, and enough over-the-top characters to make even the original trilogy blush. But Tiny Tina’s wasn’t perfect, and if an eventual sequel is going to truly succeed, there are a few glaring errors that need to be addressed. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands looks as though it will bring a large number of interesting changes to the table. For starters, the game appears to be combining Dungeons and Dragons with Borderlands for the second time; however, this time it seems to commit even further to the fantasy aesthetic. But the aesthetics and genre aren’t the extents of the new features being brought into the franchise, with an intriguing “multiclass” system raising plenty of eyebrows....
