TikTok user gingersnark uploaded a video of herself recreating hairstyles from various video games, with the clip having amassed over 766,000 views at the time of this writing and a staggering 122,000 likes and counting. The video starts with gingersnark recreating how Aloy’s hair looks in Horizon Zero Dawn, and then swaps to Triss Merigold of The Witcher fame.

Since gingersnark is a readhead, it makes sense that she would try to recreate Aloy and Triss Merigold’s hairdos. However, the video is not limited to redheaded video game characters. Right after the Triss Merigold recreation, gingersnark shows her take on Princess Zelda’s hair as it appears in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild before ending the video with a picture-perfect recreation of Lara Croft’s braid from the Tomb Raider franchise.
If one scrolls through gingersnark’s TikTok page, they will find plenty of other videos where the popular content creator recreates the hairstyles of various fictional characters, like Yennefer as she appears in The Witcher Season 2 on Netflix and Sansa Stark of Game of Thrones fame. Some of gingersnark’s most popular videos are tutorials where she teaches her viewers how to style their hair in a similar fashion.

With the popularity of this particular video game character video, it will be interesting to see if gingersnark’s future content focuses on video games more.
