Thomas' latest Frankenhelmet was on display Sunday against the Islanders. It look like a standard player bucket with the chinstrap cut off and a retrofitted full cage/neck protector, and it's navy blue.

Goalies with gear like Thomas are a dying breed — godspeed, Chris Osgood — so he usually looks out of place. His last mask, with a red, so-ugly-it's-cool Panthers paint scheme, didn't last long at all.
