Patch 1.0.1.0g for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands went live Thursday morning, a hotfix with some important changes for players to consider. The most exciting in-game change for players to look forward to is the rotation to a new limited-time mini-event. Optional Opportunities has now ended, and Fortunate Encounters is live, running from April 14 through 9:00 AM PT on April 21. The mini-event grants players additional loot and Moon Orbs from dice dropped from random encounters in the overworld.

Additionally, the Chaos Chamber’s Featured Run has been reset for the week, meaning the leaderboards are clear for endgame players to leave their mark. This week’s Featured Run includes the Banshee and Da King. Gearbox has also increased the drop chance for dedicated loot for bosses taking part in the Chaos Chamber’s Featured Run.
A good number of bug fixes have also been delivered as part of today’s hotfix. A hole in Queen’s Gate has been patched up, Fatemakers will no longer be able to pick up fire spells if they don’t know how to do fire magic, Chaos Chamber Aspects and the Maker have an increased chance to drop dedicated gear, Quadbow and Thunder Anima will now be available as world drops, and Customization Drops as a whole have a new look.
Dozens of balance changes have also been made in this update, with a focus on Magic Barrage, Cloudburst Arc Torrent, Sniper Rifles, and Magic Poison SMGs. Certain changes have also been made to stats gained from Backstories to make them stand out more. For example, the Village Idiot has gained a -3 Wisdom penalty. It’s only fair.
Expect Gearbox to continue rolling out updates for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands week to week going forward. Gearbox has a clear goal of keeping Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands feeling fresh for players as it continues to tune the game based on feedback. The weekly events also add an element of creativity to the game. Odds are, bigger events and content drops are just a short time away, so stay tuned.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
