While a selectable backstory and numerous customization options are the defining traits of the Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands character creator, being able to choose different personalities is another good touch. Through this mechanic, players can give their characters several different ways of speaking, with the voice change combining with some distinct personality traits to make each character stand out. Recently, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands expanded the list of personalities, and it should continue doing so with future updates.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ Grim Personality Should Star a New Trend

While the recent Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands update proved exciting due to the new Blightcaller class and the launch of the final Mirror of Mystery, a feature that flew under the radar a bit was the new Grim personality type. Featured in the clip above, gamers who choose this voice type will play as a character with edgy dialogue, perfect for gamers hoping to create an emo character. With plenty of comedic options created by this personality type, many were happy to see it added, and it could push some gamers to start a new game with this personality selected.

Future updates should see Gearbox continuing to expand the lineup of personalities that are available within Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ Character Creator. One of the game’s biggest draws is replaying with two different classes or a character that has an entirely fresh way of speaking, as this helps greatly with replayability. Much like how the Blightcaller has provided a way to make the gameplay feel more unique, the Grim personality and its gothic undertones could allow the story to feel a bit fresher whenever gamers are going back through it.

When it comes to the options available to Gearbox, the sky is the limit. With players already able to embody a creepy character and a heroic character, another extreme personality type would be ideal. Perhaps gamers could choose an “Unhinged” personality type for their Fatemakers, allowing them to talk like the beloved Psycho Krieg. Shouting a random assortment of words in combat and in response to dialogue could be a lot of fun, and it would surely put a smile on the face of Borderlands fans who feel attached to Krieg.

A “Flirty” personality type would make for another standout addition, allowing gamers to recreate the magic of the Non-Violent Offender side quest from Mount Craw. A character that is constantly using innuendo and making suggestive comments could be hilarious, especially when responding to the various NPCs that are featured throughout the spin-off. While nothing could match Mad Moxxi, as Gearbox would have to limit itself a bit in a T-rated game, it would still be a nice change of pace to control an aggressively flirty character.

A “Clumsy” personality could give gamers a Claptrap-like character, and even a “Cheerful” personality type would work, with the character randomly breaking into song like Tiny Tina and always trying to see the bright side. Though the game would absolutely benefit more from major expansions than small additions like extra personalities, it would still be nice to see Gearbox continuing to expand the character creation suite via free updates.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
