Much like what would happen in a real-world Dungeons and Dragons campaign or fantasy RPGs, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands begins with players being introduced to their fellow adventurers and the big bad of the story. Tiny Tina acts as the Dungeon Master (or, rather, Bunker Master), which means she tells the story and prepares the encounters for players, all from her cave. Players get to see the cave briefly in the initial cutscenes, but it never becomes a playable area in the game.

However, a Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands player posted their story on Reddit, stating that they managed to break the camera in a way that allowed them to freely move inside Tina’s cave for a short time. The Redditor, by the name of Frightening_Fiend, said that they were dabbling with character creation and eventually quit it before actually customizing their new avatar. Upon loading back into that character, the player found themselves in Tina’s cave, capable of running around and exploring before being eventually stuck in a specific position while being transported to the Snoring Valley.
This led fellow players to believe that the cave is not intentionally accessible, but it could be located somewhere near the Snoring Valley if gamers were to try and find it through ground or wall glitches. Frightening_Fiend also managed to replicate the bug one more time, as explained in the post, likely making this something everyone can do before Gearbox finally patches it. On the other hand, it’s not impossible that Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands DLCs could let players officially explore Tina’s cave in a short sequence.
Still, after exploring the cave once, players might want to go back to the intended character creation process simply because it’s one of the game’s best experiences. For example, one Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands fan showed characters based on The Witcher series, whereas others either made their own original characters or drew inspiration from those of their favorite franchises.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
